What Charge-O-Matic™ Is (and Isn’t)
Charge-O-Matic™ is not a battery charger. It’s a patented smart timer that controls the charger you already own. It cycles power on/off automatically to keep batteries healthy without overcharging.
Compatibility: Your charger must begin charging when power is applied. If it needs a button press or mode selection at power-up, it is not compatible.
Patented, One-of-a-Kind Technology
Charge-O-Matic™ is the only product of its kind, backed by U.S. Patent 11,610,749. It delivers long-interval maintenance cycles no smart plug or basic timer can match.
Why Use a Battery Charger Timer Switch?
- Extend battery life: avoid constant trickle charging
- Automate maintenance: set hours ON / days OFF
- Multi-use: e-bikes, generators, jump starters, scooters, tools
- Multi-device: use a power strip if all share one schedule
Why Not Just Use a Smart Plug?
- True long OFF cycles: hours ON, then days/weeks OFF, repeat
- No Wi-Fi/app: simple dual-knob controls—set and forget
- Resumes after outages: backup memory continues the cycle
- ETL certified: purpose-built and safety tested
Smart Plug Myth vs. Charge-O-Matic Reality
Some smart plugs can do daily/weekly schedules. Long-term battery care requires running occasionally, then resting for weeks—not daily toggles.
- Smart plugs: clock-based daily/weekly, lose schedules on glitches
- Charge-O-Matic: set 1–99 hours ON and up to 99 days OFF
- Right intervals: 30 / 45 / 60 / 99-day rests for safe storage
Bottom line: Smart plugs are for lamps and kettles—Charge-O-Matic™ is engineered for batteries.
Automatic Battery Maintainer for Storage
Run your charger for a few hours, then rest for days. Repeat indefinitely for seasonal gear, stored vehicles, generators, and more.
- On Time: 1–99 hours
- Off Time: 1–99 days
- Standby draw: 0.4W
- Outage-proof: resumes where it left off
Charger Compatibility Examples (not exhaustive)
Works with chargers that auto-start on power:
- Trickle/float: Battery Tender Jr., Schumacher, NOCO (auto-start)
- Power tools: Milwaukee M18, DeWalt 20V, Makita LXT (plug-and-charge)
- Generator/RV: standard 12V maintainers for starter batteries
- E-bikes: Rad Power, Aventon, Lectric, Juiced auto-start chargers
